MoneyGram the second-largest international money transfer service in the world. Its services transfer and exchange currencies in over 200 countries and territories around the world to more than 350,000 agent locations worldwide.
A document was discovered yesterday by TplusZero indicating that MoneyGram does indeed hold XRP on its balance sheet. It wasn’t long ago that CEO Alex Holmes stated that MoneyGram does not hold any XRP on it’s balance sheet. Alex Holmes was stated saying:
…because of the new regulation, any XRP that we receive we tend to sell about as real time as possible. We do not hold for any period of time any crypto assets on our books…
