Japanese Largest Crypto Exchange DMM Bitcoin Adds XRP

July 10th, this big announcement came out as DMM Bitcoin is now supporting the third largest digital asset XRP. XRP is being paired with Japan’s currency the Japanese Yen at the start. The trading of XRP to the Yen will go live immediately.

So who is DMM Bitcoin? DMM Bitcoin is a virtual currency exchange based in Tokyo Nihonbashi, registered on December 1, 2017 as a virtual currency exchange trader prescribed in Article 63-2 of the Revised Fund Settlement Act (Kanto Finance General manager Registration number 000100) has been completed and regular sales have begun. General Association Japan Virtual Currency Operators Association Regular member. DMM Bitcoin supports 7 digital assets and 14 trading paris. DMM Bitcoin also offers margin trading. Per the announcement, the seven cryptocurrencies were Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), NEM (XEM), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Among all these, only two cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum were set for fiat-to-crypto trading with JPY so far – whereas other cryptocurrencies were leveraged trading only.
