XRP Rally Could Silence Doubters, Says Analyst

-

XRP is once again at the center of investor speculation, as momentum builds for what could be a startling upward shift in its performance, according to a growing chorus of crypto analysts who say the digital asset’s future is being underestimated.

Crypto commentator Xena recently shared her optimism, emphasizing that many market participants are missing the broader evolution of XRP due to their fixation on its stable price. She argued that too much attention is paid to short-term stagnation, while transformative developments continue to unfold quietly but steadily behind the scenes.

She cited a recent interview with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse covered in TheStreet, where he explained the growing institutional interest in cryptocurrencies, particularly XRP. Garlinghouse emphasized that the emergence of crypto ETFs is a foundational shift, allowing established financial players such as pension funds and endowments to gain crypto exposure without the complications of direct ownership or navigating exchanges traditionally geared toward retail investors.

Garlinghouse compared this inflection point to the arrival of gold ETFs, which helped legitimize the bullion market and expanded access for mainstream investors. Similarly, the arrival of cryptocurrency ETFs is bolstering credibility and introducing clearer regulatory structures for digital assets. This shift, he noted, is a milestone that could reshape the future of cryptocurrency adoption at scale.

Recent weeks have seen a marked increase in XRP-focused financial products. Notable launches include futures-based ETFs rolled out by Teucrium Investment Advisors and Volatility Shares, alongside XRP futures trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Though these products are still short of becoming spot ETFs, nine applications are currently awaiting approval, signaling forward momentum for XRP in the institutional investment sphere.

Despite these developments, the current price of XRP remains around $2.30, leading some to question the asset’s growth potential. In contrast, Xena believes the seemingly dormant activity is misguiding the public into underestimating XRP’s growth. She expressed her concern in a post on X, where she criticized the market’s inability to recognize underlying trends that, in her view, signal a major move on the horizon.

Xena pointed out that the crypto market has matured to the extent that positive news no longer triggers immediate price spikes, a shift she sees spreading beyond XRP to other major digital assets as well. This lag in market reaction, she believes, may be giving investors a false sense of lethargy, causing them to abandon potentially significant opportunities.

According to Xena, institutional adoption and new investment vehicles form a foundation for XRP’s next major upswing. She argued that those dismissing XRP based on its current trading behavior may soon be astonished when the token executes a strong run. In her words, all the evidence for a rally is in plain sight—those who ignore it do so at their own peril.

Her sentiment echoes the outlook of several notable market analysts. For instance, crypto strategist EGRAG Crypto has continually predicted an XRP rally reaching $27, drawing on technical analysis that suggests parallels with XRP’s breakout in 2017.

Even more bullish forecasts have emerged, with some community figures setting targets that many view as ambitious. Analyst BarriC has forecasted a surge to $100 within this year, while Matthew Brienen, COO of CryptoGuard, believes XRP might hit $1,000 within the next decade.

Still, skepticism remains among segments of the investor community. Critics point out the enormous market capitalization XRP would require to meet such forecasts, suggesting these goals may be overly ambitious. However, supporters like Xena argue that institutional transformation and expanding utility could realistically fuel such jumps, turning doubters into surprised spectators.
